A “Joint Assessment” is the term given to any Assessment that involves more than one quality standard being Assessed at the same time.
Due to the very similar nature of the Assessment process for most quality standards, it is possible to combine two Assessments during a single visit using one Assessor. Some of the evidence that is presented for one standard can also be used as evidence for the other standard, therefore cutting down on the time required for the visit and reducing the amount of disruption caused to the organisation, thus giving a more complete view of the organisations position.
EMQC Ltd is now able to offer you an Assessment against the matrix Standard alongside an Assessment for other standards simultaneously, for example, the Investors in People Standard, an approach that offers various benefits to organisations, not least the same evaluation and advice service that would be gained from undertaking each Assessment individually. Many organisations find that they take much more value from a “Joint Assessment” than they would from a “single Standard” Assessment and we would actively encourage organisations to think about making life more manageable by carrying out an Assessment for two quality standards together.
