SFEDI - Getting Started

You must demonstrate competence against a range of individual units contained within a high-quality package of professional practice standards. As examples, these include:

• Knowledge and understanding of key areas of business
• Building relationships
• Developing networks
• Improving and monitoring business performance
• Change management
• Customer relationship management
• Reflection and self–evaluation
• Professional development

Once accredited, you will be required to maintain and demonstrate your expertise by undertaking continuous professional development, monitoring and shadowing. Adviser registration expires after two years at which point you will need to demonstrate you still meet the scheme’s requirements.
